Instructional

  1. MOTIVATION

1. The program provoke attention with the use of bright colours, clear pictures, brightness, interesting sounds, creative graphics, great animation throughout the program.

2. The program provide an activity such as game after completing each task or activity.

3. The program provide and maintain appropriate levels of challenge and it increase the levels of difficulty with progress.

4. The program provide competition with the computer, with the student herself and with the clock.

5. The program can maintain student’s confidence by giving encouragement.

6. The program provide a level of student control.

7. The program give partial information, elements of surprise, stimulating, desire to know and the prevention of a natural ending as a part of cognitive curiosity.

8. The program encourage students to envision themselves in a imaginary context or event where they can use the information they are learning.

9. The goal setting and scoring are clearly stated and provide indication of how the student is proceeding periodically.

10. The system concern about the time it takes to complete in an activity.

1. The program reinforce the correct answer with positive feedback.

1. Each screen can include a well laid combination of text and graphics/animation which work together to make a particular point clear.

1. The graphics make information more attractive

2. The graphics can help the visualisation of a particular event, place or object.

3. The graphics will help in memorization of key information.

4. The graphics aid can be understanding.

F. Animation

1. The animation can invite reaction and input

2. It does not have the sense of humour.

3. The animation can minimise the static boredom

G. Sound

1. The sound used is add to the understanding of teaching point.

H. Menus and Icons

1. The menus and icons provide an intuitive clear interface.

3. Learners can see the components which they have already completed and one still to be done

1. There is a welcome screen, offering an overview, basic tips and links to more in depth help.

2. The welcome screen go away when learner is no longer new to the program.

1. The instructions are available within the program itself, appearing on the screen as needed, that free the user from offering to the written documentation.

5. There are the instructions for ending the program if the user wants to stop.
